About the JPS Foundation

The JPS Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support programs and services to improve the lives of JPS Health Network patients and our community. As an essential hospital, JPS provides healthcare to all Tarrant County residents, including those who face financial and social barriers to care. The JPS Foundation fills the funding gap and provides additional resources needed to provide high quality care to JPS patients.

Our Commitment

It is our commitment to work diligently with our donors to support the compassionate health care that JPS offers throughout Tarrant County and be a resource to care for some of our community’s most vulnerable populations in the areas of—behavioral health, medical care homeless services, women’s health, maternal and infant health, trauma, education programs, and other strategic healthcare initiatives.

On September 17, 2024, Tarrant County Commissioners Court will adopt the Tarrant County Hospital District’s FY25 proposed budget and tax rate. The Commissioners Court has proposed a tax rate of $0.1875 which is below the no-new-revenue rate and will collect less taxes than the previous tax year.
